Computer Systems Group (CSG) - University of Waterloo
The Computer Systems Group at the University of Waterloo has been a computer science research group since the early 1960s. CSG research has focused on developing and improving computer technologies such as operating systems, languages, relational databases, and graphical user interfaces (GUIs).
The Computer Systems Group has had joint research arrangements with many Canadian and international organizations including: Ontario Ministry of Health & Long Term Care, Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion, Apple, Bell, Commodore, DEC, Hewlett Packard, IBM, The Mutual Group, Toshiba, and WATCOM.
Conestoga College School of Health and Life Sciences - Health Informatics Management Program
MedManager has established a collaborative partnership with the faculty and students of Conestoga College's Health Informatics Management four-year baccalaureate co-op degree program. Students in the program have applied their knowledge and skills in activities associated with MedManager's product testing and validation.
The Health Informatics Management program prepares graduates to analyze the data, information and knowledge requirements of health care professionals; to design, implement and manage information systems; to support decision making of clinicians and administrators; and to provide strategic leadership in health care organizations in the area of information and communications technology.
Conestoga's School of Health and Life Sciences offers a wide range of programs in diverse health-related career areas. Undergraduate programs are at the certificate, diploma and degree levels. The School also offers a large number of postgraduate certificate programs dealing with specialized professional skills. In 2009, the School of Health and Life Sciences initiated a major expansion program including the construction of a new Centre for Health Informatics, a Health and Wellness Centre, four additional simulation labs to enhance experiential and applied learning, and upgraded smart classrooms that feature multimedia and interactive learning capabilities.

Live Well. Connected. portals with clinic and hospital-based health information systems in Northern Ontario and London, Ontario.
MDI Solutions offers a complete range of outsourced HL7 data integration and interfacing services to the health care industry. HL7 Medical Data Integration and HL7 systems interfacing provide a strategic foundation of interconnectivity, as healthcare systems strive to make better use of information technology. MDI Solutions has leveraged 12 years of experience to the benefit of key hospitals in Ontario such as CHEO, St. Joseph's Health Care (Toronto) and Mount Sinai, as well as a planned 90 Trusts throughout the United Kingdom.
