Lutherwood

Lutherwood operates Luther Village on the Park, a retirement community that utilizes MedManager's portal technology to offer residents and their caregivers (i.e. family members) access to the medical information and healthcare staff advice required to manage chronic disease.

Luther Village provides a continuum of services to the aging population through independent and supported living resources. Lutherwood is a not-for-profit organization that delivers retirement services, and children's mental health, employment and self-employment programs to over 16,000 people every year in Waterloo Region and Wellington County. Computer Systems Group (CSG) – University of Waterloo

MedManager and CSG are partners in research and development. In 2006, MedManager and CSG were jointly awarded research funding from The Health Technology Exchange (www.htx.ca).

The Computer Systems Group at the University of Waterloo has been a computer science research group since the early 1960s. CSG research has focused on developing and improving computer technologies such as operating systems, languages, relational databases, and graphical user interfaces (GUIs).

The Computer Systems Group has had joint research arrangements with many Canadian and international organizations including: Ontario Ministry of Health & Long Term Care, Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion, Apple, Bell, Commodore, DEC, Hewlett Packard, IBM, The Mutual Group, Toshiba, and WATCOM.
